Originally founded in 1952 as a credit union serving members of the military and their families, Bank @LANTEC originated in 2004 with its conversion to a mutual savings bank. Bank @LANTEC was the 1st credit union in Virginia and only the 25th in the country to convert to a bank charter. Bank @LANTEC has enjoyed extraordinary and transformational growth since becoming a bank and has achieved the following milestones:

• Surpassed $110 million in assets for the first time in our 55 year history
• Grew the loan portfolio by over 80% with high quality real estate and commercial loans
• Increased deposit balances by almost 20%, including adding many new member relationships
• Reduced loan delinquencies by 88% to a historical low of just .02% of total loan balances
• Maintained capital adequacy levels far in excess of peer group and regulatory requirements.
